A jellyfish inspires wonder earrings: filaments turn into small, semiprecious stones, sea urchins offer the umbrella to support the tinkly waterfall of gems.
That’s Atlantide collection, sprung from the phantasy and the passion of an Italian craftsman and jeweler, Antonello Malfa.
Rings look like fantasy creatures: the base is usually a seashell, transformed by decorations, crystals, mother pearl. Antonello has a mythological approach to aesthetics: his main line, Opposite jewels, works on the power of symbols and mixes art with technique, giving life to unique creations.
But the real beginning of his art dates 2001, when Antonello turned his first seashell, found on the beach already pierced and smooth, into a ring.
